Hart man arrested on 4 warrants

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 52-year-old Hart man was arrested on four outstanding warrants and for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS), and a 46-year-old Hart woman was arrested for allowing a person to operate while suspended following a traffic stop by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 10:04 p.m. on Pere Marquette Highway near Hesslund Road.

The man’s warrants were for failure to appear for operating while intoxicated;  failure to appear for DWLS; failure to appear for failure to pay child support; and a felony of dangerous drugs issued by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT).

5:49 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 east of Meyers, Amber Township.

6:20 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 and Benson, Branch Township.

1:35 p.m., damaged property, 1500 block of W. US 10, Amber Township.

5:12 p.m., assault, case remains under investigation, 6500 E. Beech, Sheridan Township.

5:30 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Stephens and Wilson, Custer Township.
