VICTORY TOWNSHIP – The Manierre Dawson Gallery, on the campus of West Shore Community College, is currently exhibiting the work of the college’s art faculty.

Photographs by Rob and Becky Alway, acrylic paintings by Cheri Petri, watercolors by Michele Anscombe, and clay sculpture and pottery by Rebecca Mott are on display until December 15.

Mott’s ceramic work in the exhibit is a culmination of her sabbatical research completed this summer on alternative firing processes. The final firing of most the pieces displayed was done in a specially constructed 55 gallon barrel kiln using renewable sources of fuel — primarily wood chips and sawdust.
