Shakespeare reading group meets Thursday.

LUDINGTON —  The Shakespeare Reading Group continues its reading of “King John” when it meets Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts. The group takes up with Act III, Scene I.

The group is open to all who have a “Love of Shakespeare” and meets once a month for about two hours to read from the works of The Bard. SRG participants read the script for the different characters and an informal discussion is held at the end of each scene.

Participants are asked to bring their own copy of Shakespeare’s works and to contribute $3 toward facility usage ($2 for LACA members). The Ludington Area Center for the Arts is at 107 S. Harrison St. For more information,\call the arts center at 231-845-2787; open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
