HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Two three-car crashes on Lakeshore Drive, both with minor injuries, occurred within one minute of each other Thursday afternoon. The first crash, which was handled by Mason County Sheriff’s Office, occurred at 4:58 p.m at Lakeshore Drive and Neil Road in Hamlin Township. The second crash occurred at 4:59 p.m. at Lakeshore Drive and Indiana Street, according to the Hart post of the Michigan State Police.

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 29-year-old Ludington woman was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Thursday, Aug. 27, at 3:30 p.m. on Limouze Street on a one-count felony warrant, charging her with perjury in 51st Circuit Court.
