Clown Band to perform hometown concert Aug. 18; Pentwater homecoming Aug. 13

clown_band_shellSCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Clown Band will perform its annual hometown concert at the Scottville Band Shell on Tuesday, August 18. The Clown Band Shell schedule had listed the band as performing this Tuesday, August 11. However, the band will be playing next week. This week’s free Tuesday night concert at the shell will be Peace, Love and Music. All concerts begin at 7 p.m.

Next Tuesday’s event will also feature Safety Day with the Scottville Fire Department holding a presentation from 3 to 5 p.m. to teach kids about fire and household safety. The August 18 concert will be a fundraising event for the Scottville Optimist Club which owns and operates the band shell jointly with the Clown Band.

The Clown Band will perform its annual joint Les Bailey Memorial Concert with the Pentwater Civic Band at 7:30 p.m. on the Village Green in Pentwater on Thursday, August 13.
