Larceny, break-in among police activity

The following is Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Thursday, July 30, 2015:

– 3:32 a.m., a warrant is being requested for a 44-year-old Lake County man for sex offender registry violation, E. State St., City of Scottville.

– 1:34 p.m., larceny from a building, Best Western Hotel, W. US-10, Pere Marquette Twp., money was reportedly stolen from a visitor’s purse.

– 1:53 p.m., two-vehicle crash, minor injuries, US-10 east of PM Hwy., PM Twp.

– 4:47 p.m., a 33 year-old Battle Creek man was arrested at the sheriff’s office on two outstanding failure to appear warrants out of Shiawassee County, City of Ludington.

– 6:34 p.m., breaking and entering, 8400 block of Democrat, Village of Free Soil, unknown if any items were taken.
