51st Circuit Court sentencings include gun, home invasion, police assault convictions

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

– Stephanie Lynn Joynes, 32, of 2309 N. Sherman Rd., Ludington, was found guilty June 9 of receiving and concealing guns. She was sentenced July 21 to one year discretionary jail with credit for one day served; $12,162.57 restitution; $558 in fines and costs; and three years probation. In a separate file, she was found guilty June 9 of harboring felons and sentenced July 21 to one year discretionary jail with credit for one day served; $258 in fines and costs; three years probation. Sentences run concurrently.

– Jon Lloyd MacCune, 23, of 924 E. Tinkham Ave., Ludington, was found guilty by a jury May 22 of first-degree home invasion and domestic violence and convicted by the court second-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced July 21 to 14 years and two months to 30 years in prison with credit for 330 days served for count 1 and 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served for count 2, along with $248 in fines and costs. One count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct CSC – during a felony – and one count of third-degree CSC – force – were dismissed. In a separate file, MacCune was found guilty June 24 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and sentenced July 21 to one year and nine months to three years in prison with credit for 76 days served and $258 in fines and costs. One count of assaulting a prison employee was dismissed. Sentences are concurrent.

– Lauri Ann Hurst, 35, of 813 N. Lavinia St., Ludington, was found guilty June 9 of three counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. She was sentenced July 21 to one year in jail with credit for 82 days served; serve 90 days up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; two years probation; and $694 in fines and costs.

– Tonya Ann Johnson, 33, of 504 Fifth St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was found guilty June 9 of first-degree retail fraud. She was sentenced July 21 to one year in jail with credit for 94 days served; serve seven months up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; two years probation; and $907.16 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Nathan Sean Garn, 25, of 721 N. Dexter Rd., Ludington, was found guilty June 3 of delivery/manufacture of marijuana and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced July 21 to 270 days in jail with credit for 77 days served; serve four months up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 18 months probation; and $718 in fines, costs and restitution. Second-offense habitual offender was dismissed. In a separate file, one count of delivery/manufacture of marijuana was dismissed.

– Herbert Jason Golnick III, 34, of 1089 Lancer Lane, Ludington, was found guilty June 3 of delivery/manufacture of marijuana. He was sentenced July 21 to 180 days in jail with credit for 63 days served; serve 90 days up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 18 months probation; and $658 in fines and costs.
