MSP: Vehicle in river, ‘bow fishing’ among weekend activity

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Troopers from the Hart post of the Michigan State Police were dispatched to a “suspicious situation” Saturday, July 25, at 4:50 p.m. involving a vehicle in the Pere Marquette River at Suttons Landing on Iris Road.

No other information about the incident was immediately available.

MSP also responded to a suspicious situation Sunday, July 26, at 12:38 a.m. in the 6000 block of West Davis Road involving a boat on Hamlin Lake in which suspects were “bow fishing” with a bow and arrow, police said. There was no other information immediately available.
