Pig roast, art fair, car show in Free Soil Sunday.

FREE SOIL — There are lots of activities going on in Free Soil Sunday afternoon. The day will feature a pig roast, arts and crafts fair and a car show.

The Free Soil Community Schools Alumni Association will hold its second annual Arts & Crafts Fair at the Free Soil Town Hall, located on Michigan Street, on Sunday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, the Free Soil/Meade Fire Department will hold its ninth annual Pig Roast at the Free Soil Community Center on North Democrat Street that day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The first Rides from the Past Car Show and Parts Swap Meet will be held on the Free Soil ball field next to the community center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any type of vehicle is welcome to attend. The show will feature music from the ’50s and ’60s by D.J. Jim Carey along with door prizes. There will not be any judging. For more information, call 231-464-5454.
