LUDINGTON – As a 2009 graduate of Ludington High School, Tyler John Reed, 23, went on to West Shore Community College, but he just knew is wasn’t what he was meant to be doing. Growing up in the church performing with his church’s band, playing drums and singing, he has always had a passion to take his chances on becoming a full time musician.

all_access_sponsorship_100114Working different jobs and then landing a job with Western Land Services in Ludington, Tyler was making a good life for himself, but he still wasn’t happy. After three years with the company, with the majority of his time working out of time, Tyler knew it was time to come back home and focus on becoming a full time musician.

Tyler’s band, the Whiskey Rebels, have been creating quite a name for themselves in the last couple of years. Mason County Press, senior correspondent, Kate Krieger sat down with Tyler to discuss his life after high school and his ambitions to take to music industry by storm.
