79th District Court arraignments include child abuse, retail fraud

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Colby

– Lee Hamilton Colby, 31, of 2300 N. 28th St., Fountain, was arrested May 7 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of third-degree child abuse. Probable cause hearing: May 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety.

Bays

– Matthew Allen Bays, AKA Fetterhoff, 31, of 4157 Giles Rd., Muskegon, was arrested May 11 by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for felonies of first-degree retail fraud; conspiracy to commit first-degree retail fraud; and second-offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: May 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety.

Blanchard

– Kyle David Blanchard, 40, of 7164 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., Pentwater, was arrested May 7 by the State, Sheriffs, Chiefs Enforcement Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for a felony of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of marijuana. Probable cause hearing: May 20 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

Grassa

– Vincent Louis Grassa, 43, of 1817 W. Conrad Rd., Ludington, was arrested May 7 by SSCENT for a felony of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of marijuana. Probable cause hearing: May 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Cerka

– Michael Lee Cerka, 36, of Ludington, was arrested May 9 by MCSO for a felony of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC). Probable cause hearing: May 20 at 3 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Cory Daniel Peterson, 45, of 513 S. Lincoln St., Bay City, was arrested May 10 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of second-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: June 1 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Rebecca Anne Diem, 42, of 606 E. Ludington Ave., Apt. 3, Ludington, was arrested May 9 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: June 1 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Richard James Davis, 26, of 5756 Third St., Mears, was arrested May 5 by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP) for a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: June 1 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.

– Amber Rose Minga, 26, of 575 Oak St., Baldwin, was arrested May 7 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of failure to maintain security. Pretrial: June 1 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.
