LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Georgia Rae Makowski, 54, of 105 4th St., Apt. 1, Ludington, was found guilty April 22 of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing police. She was sentenced to 17 days in jail with credit for 17 days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must maintain medications at proper levels; no alcohol/drugs; and random drug tests. One count of disorderly person – public intoxication was dismissed.

– Patrick Masiwchuk, 33, of ℅ of 5961 W. Decker Rd., Ludington, was found guilty April 22 of public health code – general violation. He was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and no alcohol/drugs. One count of count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture of marijuana dismissed.

– Kevin Vincent Curran, 55, of 201 E. Melendy St., Ludington, was found guilty April 23 of disorderly person – drunk. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $355 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for six months; and no alcohol/drugs. One count of domestic violence dismissed.

– Robert W. Fink, 46, of 3326 SE 4th St., Ocala, Fla., was found guilty April 21 of third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to $128 in fines and costs.

– Jessica Lee Strouse, 30, of 6951 S. Division, Apt. 1, Cutlerville, was found guilty April 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $335 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.

– David William Rood, 52, of 754 Marcoux Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty April 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $335 in fines and costs.

Dismissals

– Jonathan Lee Gray, 24, of 275 Houston Ave., Apt. 2, Muskegon, one count of improper transport of medical marijuana in a vehicle was dismissed April 28. “Defendant entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” court records state.

– Sally Jean Whiteside, 62, of 3779 W. Hidden Forest Dr., Ludington, one count of domestic violence was dismissed. “Defendant entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” court records state.

– Brenda Gail Stalter, 39, of 414 Thornwild Dr., Apt. 64, Scottville, one count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed April 22.
