2 women arrested for stealing nearly $350 in merchandise from Walmart

LUDINGTON — Two Ludington women, ages 33 and 36, were arrested for retail fraud Wednesday, April 22, at 12:05 a.m. after Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies served a search warrant on a residence in the 900 block of Maple Street.

The deputies were following up on a theft of nearly $350 in merchandise allegedly stolen from Walmart in Pere Marquette Township. Several alleged stolen items were recovered, and the two women were lodged in the Mason County Jail.

– 2:33 p.m., (MCSO), a 45-year-old Howell man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop, US-10 and Stiles, Amber Twp.

– 7:31 p.m.,  (MCSO), a 22-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a felony drug warrant out of Mason County following a traffic stop, PM Hwy. and Chauvez, PM Twp.

– 8:18 p.m.,  (MCSO), gas drive-off, $15 in fuel taken, 5900 block of W. US-10 — Ludington EZ Mart, PM Twp.

– 10:31 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 35-year-old Fountain man was arrested for operating without insurance, Benson and US-10, Branch Twp.

– 11:10 p.m.,  (MCSO), a 22-year-old Saginaw man was arrested on a misdemeanor drug warrant out of Saginaw County following a traffic stop, Custer and Sippy, Eden Twp.
