LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Richard Scott Patrick, 23, of 110 Thornwild Dr., Apt. A3, Scottville, was found guilty April 7 of aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 100 days in jail with credit for 83 days served; $465 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for two years; and no contact with victim. In another file, he was found guilty April 7 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served and $265 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the SOS. One count of interfering with a police investigation dismissed.

– Christian Jonathon Steiger, 22, of 15260 Forest Park Dr., Grand Haven, was found guilty Dec. 10, 2014 of malicious destruction of a building $200 or more. He was sentenced April 7 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; $590 in fines and costs; and one year discretionary jail for one year. One count of assault by strangulation and one count of domestic violence were dismissed.

– Robert Thomas Ray, 23, no address listed, was found guilty April 7 of receiving and concealing stolen property. He was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; community service may be worked out with the magistrate; and $665 in fines and costs. One count of larceny less than $200 was dismissed.

– Jeffrey Albert Sharpe, 40, of 1386 Maxwell Rd., Petoskey, was found guilty April 7 of DWLS. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $1,065 in fines and costs; and 93 days discretionary jail for two years. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Christopher Phillip Hopkins, 37, of 4675 Alpena, Belmont, was found guilty April 7 of unlawful use of a license plate. He was sentenced to 14 days in jail with credit for 14 days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; $175 in fines and costs; and after payment of fines and costs, discretionary jail term ends. One count of receiving and concealing stolen property less than $200 was dismissed.

– Javier Guzman-Barrera, 41, of 4948 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., Ludington, was found guilty April 8 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to 22 days in jail with credit for 22 days served; $785 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and no contact with the victim. Three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) – relationship were dismissed on a motion by the prosecutor.

– Wendy Lou Griffin, 42, of 308 ½ W. Court St., Ludington, was found guilty April 10 of receiving and concealing stolen property. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $802.52 in fines, costs and restitution; 45 days discretionary jail for one year; and may perform 40 hours of community service to derray $400 of fines and costs. One count of third-degree retail fraud was dismissed.

– Benjamin James Spore, 26, of 125 Broadway Ave., Scottville, was found guilty April 13 of driving while license not valid/improper. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $225 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Mykel Dalton Horsley, 24, of 503 N. William St., Apt. A, Ludington, was found guilty April 13 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $335 in fines and costs.

– Leroy Edward Dennis, 51, of 3920 S. Branch Rd., Branch, was found guilty April 13 of DWLS. He was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs and 93 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Xavier Ignacio Zamora, 21, of 304 N. Gaylord Ave., Ludington, was found guilty April 13 of driving while license not valid/improper. He was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

– Racheal Jean Hansen, 21, of 1302 N. Sherman Rd., Ludington, one count of domestic violence was dismissed March 27. “Defendant has entered into prosecutor’s deferment agreement,” court records state. “The ends of justice do not require further prosecution at this time.”

– Katrina Lyn Genter, 36, of 932 Pine St., Ludington, one count of operating a motor vehicle without security was dismissed April 13. “Defendant pleaded to a lesser charge,” court records state.

– Kehley Lynn Hansen, 28, of 7309 E. Sugar Grove Rd., Fountain, one count of operating a motor vehicle without security was dismissed April 13. “Defendant pleaded to a lesser charge,” court records state.

– Regan Rees, 50, of 3940 W. Kistler Rd., Ludington, one count of DWLS was dismissed April 13. “Defendant pleaded to a lesser charge,” court records state.
