79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

– Brooke Elizabeth Streeter, 22, of 207 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, was arrested March 25 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for two felony counts of controlled substance, possession on school property – narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams, and maintaining a drug house. Probable cause hearing: April 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $75,000/cash/surety.

– Melissa Sue Streeter, 41, of 26 Court St., Manistee, was arrested March 25 by SSCENT  for two felony counts of controlled substance, possession on school property – narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams. Probable cause hearing: April 22 at 3 p.m. Bail: $75,000/cash/surety.

– Phillip Michael Carlson, 33, no address listed, was arrested April 8 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for felonies of tampering with an electronic monitoring device and habitual offender, third offense. Probable cause hearing: April 22 at 3 p.m. Bail: $7,500/cash/surety.

– James Robert Wicks, 47, of 7831 E. US-10, Branch, was arrested May 1, 2014 by LPD for felonies of larceny in a building and habitual offender, fourth offense. Probable cause hearing: April 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

– Matthew Joseph Stock,  23, of 918 E. Fulburn Rd., Scottville Rd., Scottville, was arrested (no date listed) by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP-H) for a felony of assault by strangulation; habitual offender, third offense; and domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: April 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

– Ashley Lynn Anderson, 23, of 6751 E. Beech St., Fountain, was arrested April 7 by SSCENT for felonies of controlled substance, delivery/manufacture of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. Probable cause hearing: April 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Luke Thomas Murawski, 37, of 208 E. Foster, Ludington, was arrested April 7 by SSCENT for a felony of second-offense possession of marijuana. Probable cause hearing:: April 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Clinton Duane Franklin, 38, of 612 N. Lakeshore Dr., Apt 33, Free Soil, was arrested April 12 by LPD for misdemeanors of second-degree retail fraud and receiving and concealing stolen property under $200. Pretrial: May 4 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Luke Thomas Murawski, 37, of 208 E. Foster, Ludington, was arrested April 7 by SSCENT for a felony of second-offense possession of marijuana. Probable cause hearing:: April 22 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Richard Lee Sidock, Jr., 22, of 4843 E. Barothy Rd., Custer, was arrested April 10 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Pretrial: May 4 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Joshua Lee New, 24, of 834 S. Sheridan Dr., Apt. L203, Muskegon, was arrested April 11 by MCSO for misdemeanors of controlled substance, possession of marijuana; driving while license suspended (DWLS) and reckless driving. Pretrial: April 27 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Laura Ann Gillis, 30, of 407 Nelson, Scottville, was arrested April 9 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: June 8 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jennifer Rose Gancarz, 27, of 7880 N. Custer Rd., Free Soil, was arrested April 12 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: May 11 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Adam Lee Vanas, 24, of 69 Irwin Ave., Muskegon, was arrested April 11 by LPD for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Pretrial: May 4 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Nancy Marie Claffey, 68, of 1108 E. Mavis Rd., Scottville, was arrested April 13 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of failure to maintain security. Pretrial: April 13 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.
