51st Circuit Court sentencings: assault with a weapon, domestic violence lands Manistee man in prison

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Henderson

Henderson

– Mark Edward Henderson, 35, of 11769 N. Charloon, Manistee, pleaded no contest Jan. 21 to assault with a weapon and domestic violence. He was sentenced March 17 to a minimum of one year and six months to a maximum of eight years in a Michigan Department of Corrections prison for Count I; 93 days in prison for Count II; and $248 in fines and costs. Sentences are to run concurrent; sentence on Count II is suspended; and his sentence runs consecutive to a parole violation term. Two additional counts of domestic violence and habitual offender, third conviction, were dismissed.

Myers

Myers

– Jenna Diane Myers, 21, of 4631 W. Deren Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 3 of controlled substance, possession of narcotic or cocaine, less than 25 grams. She was sentenced March 17 to 270 days in jail with credit for 103 days served; serve six months up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; after serving five months of jail, may attend inpatient treatment for a minimum of 28 days; two years probation; and $498 in fines and costs. Sentence to be served concurrent to her district court case. One count of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

– Gregory Alexander Jolly, 22, of 3680 E. First St., Custer, was found guilty Feb. 3 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and two counts of domestic violence. He was sentenced March 17 to one year in jail with credit for 106 days served for Count I and 93 days in jail with credit for 106 days served for counts II and III; serve five months up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; counts are concurrent; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. One count of attempted malicious destruction of fire/police property was dismissed.

MacArthur

– Scott Samuel-Ray MacArthur, 20, of Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 21 of two counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. He was sentenced March 17 to two concurrent one-year jail terms with credit for 85 days served; serve 90 days up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; six months tether; two years probation; and $866 in fines and costs.

– Allen Michael Mallison, 26, of 1710 W. White Rd., Free Soil, was found guilty Feb. 3 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and second-offense domestic violence. He was sentenced March 17 to two concurrent terms of one year in jail with credit for 93 days served; serve 93 days up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; 18 months probation; and $548 in fines and costs. Another count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and habitual offender, second conviction, were dismissed. Related story here

– Tina Ann Bailey, 34, of 308 E. Court St., Apt. 7, Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 21 of larceny of a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. She was sentenced March 17 to two concurrent one-year jail terms with credit for 87 days served; two years probation; $350 in restitution; and $1,066 in fines and costs. Sentence is concurrent with probation violation in Muskegon County. Two counts of felony firearms and habitual offender, second conviction, were dismissed. Related story here
