A wind chill advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Friday. Inland temperatures have dropped to 10 to 15 below zero. Added winds mean wind chills even lower. Frostbite for exposed skin can set in within 30 minutes or less. Hypothermia can result from prolonged exposure to extreme cold. Snow covered and slippery roads are also present. 

  • Friday, Feb. 20, 2015: Snow, mainly after 1 p.m. High near 15. Wind chill values as low as -21. Breezy, with a south wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 17 to 22 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Friday night: Snow. Steady temperature around 16. Wind chill values as low as -2. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around 2 inches.
