The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until 6 a.m. Monday. Snow is expected to develop early this morning and continue through tonight with a total snowfall of 1 to 3 inches expected by Monday morning. Much more snow is expected south.

Gusty northeast winds will create blowing and drifting causing roads to become snow covered and slippery.

Today’s high temperature should be 19 F, low tonight of 6 F.

Monday, Feb. 2, 2015:

Some lingering morning flurries or snow showers. A mix of clouds and sun early then becoming cloudy later in the day. High of 21F. NE winds shifting to WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Monday night: A 30 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. West southwest wind 8 to 11 mph

Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015:

A 50 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 24. West southwest wind around 11 mph. Tuesday night: Snow showers likely, mainly after 8pm. Cloudy, with a low around 17. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
