Muskegon County teens arrested on drug charges; counterfeit money reported

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — An 18-year-old Muskegon man was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of ecstasy and his passenger, a 17-year-old Norton Shores woman, was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop Sunday, Jan. 25, at 3:55 a.m. on PM Highway near the US-31 Freeway on-ramp. Scales, suspected packaging material and cash were also seized by police.

In a separate incident, counterfeit money was reported Sunday at 4:35 p.m. in the 400 block of E. State Street in the City of Scottville. A person reported receiving a counterfeit $5 bill, but it is unknown when the person received it. Counterfeit money was recently reported in Oceana County. Related story here

– 10:43 a.m., simple assault/warrant requested for 42-year-old Walhalla woman, 500 block of N. Main, City of Scottville.
