79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Flickenger

– Dayvin Michael Flickinger, 22, of 406 E. Foster St., Ludington, was arrested Dec. 17 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of false report of a bomb threat. A preconference is set for Dec. 29 at 10 a.m., and a preliminary exam is set for Dec. 30 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $150,000/cash/surety. Related story here

Cook

– Daniel John Cook, 34, of 123 W. Broadway, Scottville, was arrested Dec. 12 by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP-H) for felonies of first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) – victim under 13/defendant over 17; attempted CSC; and two counts of second-degree CSC. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 of 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety. MSP indicates that the charges stem from incidents that occurred over an extended time period with one female victim.

Colon

– Gilberto Miguel Colon, 18, of 718 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was arrested Dec. 8 by LPD for felonies of first-degree home invasion and conspiracy to commit first-degree home invasion. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 of 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.

Jobbins_Ortiz

– Alex Christian Jobbins-Ortiz, 19, of Ludington, was arrested Dec. 8 by LPD for felonies of first-degree home invasion and conspiracy to commit first-degree home invasion. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 of 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.

Chamness

– Joseph Otto Chamness, 38, of 510 E. Melendy, Ludington, was arrested Dec. 11 by LPD for a felony of assault by strangulation and second-offense domestic violence. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 of 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.

Lopez

– Timothy Allen-Dario Lopez, 20, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Apt. 7, Ludington, was arrested Dec. 11 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of tampering with an electronic communication device and habitual offender, second offense. Bail: $25,000/cash/surety.  Five days later on Dec. 16 , Lopez was arrested again by MCSO for a felony of first-degree retail fraud and habitual offender, second offense. A preconference is set for Dec. 22 at 10 a.m., and a preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 of 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety.

Green

– Anthony Earl Green, 38, of 1098 Lancer Lane, Ludington, was arrested Dec. 10 by MCSO for felonies of prisoner possessing contraband and controlled substance, possession of cocaine and DWLS, second offense, and habitual offender, fourth offense. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 of 11:15 a.m. Bail: $35,000/cash/surety.

Patrick

– Richard Scott Patrick, 22, no address listed, was arrested Dec. 10 by MSP-H for a felony of failure to register as a  sex offender. A preliminary exam is set for Dec. 23 of 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/cash/surety.

Misdemeanors

– Kathryn Mary Wilson, 38, of 8990 W. US-10, Ludington, was arrested by MSP-H for misdemeanors of false report to police and three counts of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for Jan. 26 at 9:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Miquan Malik Sanders, 18, of 724 E. Filer St., Ludington, was arrested Dec. 14 by LPD for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. A pretrial is set for Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jeri Lynn Talmadge, 54, of 508 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was arrested Dec. 11 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. A pretrial is set for Jan. 12 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Bryan Wendell Griffin, 57, of 292 S. Meyers Rd., Ludington, was arrested Nov. 30 by MSP-H for misdemeanors of failure to maintain security and no license. A pretrial is set for Jan. 12 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.
