Shakespeare reading group meets tonight.

LUDINGTON — The Shakespeare Reading Group meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the Performance Underground at Ludington Area Center for the Arts. The group will complete the reading of “Troilus and Crossida” beginning with Act V, Scene 1.

In January, SRG will begin reading “Hamlet.”

The interactive is open to all who have a “Love of Shakespeare,” the group meets once a month for about two hours to read from the works of The Bard. Participants take on a role of one of the actors and read their parts. An informal discussion is held at the end of each scene. The group is strictly for fun; no homework is assigned, no tests are given, no grades are awarded.

Participants are asked to bring their own copy of Shakespeare’s works and to contribute $3 toward facility usage ($2 for LACA members). SRG meets the second Thursday of the month at 7pm at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, 107 S.
