December activities at Ludington library.

LUDINGTON — The following are special events happening at the Mason County District Library Ludington branch this month:

Handmade gifts: A chance for last-minute Christmas gift givers to create handmade gifts. Monday, Dec. 22 and Tuesday, Dec. 23, noon to 5 p.m. Supplies will be provided. Open to all ages. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Winter break activities: Crafts and art projects, puzzles, and card and board games available from 11a.m. to 5:30 p.m., December 19, 22, 23, 26, 29, and 30, and January 2, and on the weekends as staffing permits.  In addition, there will also be video games and Legos on some of the days, depending on available space.  Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Light up the Lake family party: Wednesday, Dec. 31 from 7 to 11:30 p.m. Crafts, games and activities for partygoers of all ages – including board games, lots of Legos, and video games. At 11:30 pm, the party will leave the library and parade downtown to enjoy the New Year’s Eve. Ball Drop.  Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
