Deputies busy with crash, verbal disputes

mcso_patrol_carRIVERTON TWP. — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a personal injury accident at Meisenheimer and Schwass roads (see related story) and responded to two verbal disputes and one verbal domestic situation Tuesday.

The following is MCSO activity for Tuesday, Dec.9, 2014:

– 8:46 a.m., suspicious vehicle, First St. near Brye Rd., Amber Twp., case closed.

– 11:54 a.m., one-vehicle crash causing injury, Meisenheimer and Schwass rds., Riverton Twp. Jessyca Nicole Carpenter, 25, Ludington was traveling eastbound on Meisenheimer Road when she lost control on the icy roadway; left the north side of the road; and went into the ditch. She was transported to Spectrum Health – Ludington. Life EMS and Riverton Fire Dept. also responded to the scene. Related story here

– 1:58 p.m., verbal dispute, 100 block of Bonnie, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 4:28 p.m., verbal dispute, 800 block of Hawley, Riverton Twp.

– 8:01 p.m., verbal domestic, 1400 block of Ivanhoe, Pere Marquette Twp.
