Suspicious men attempt to enter homes; drug possession and second-offense DWLS arrests

mcso_cruiser_k9PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Two males in a white van were approaching homes in the Juniper Hills area asking residents for their gas bills as a ruse to gain entry into homes Thursday evening, Dec. 4. Residents reported the suspicious activity to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office at 6:04 p.m.

– 7:30 a.m., car-deer crash, no injuries, Jebavy and Fisher, Hamlin Twp.

– 6:29 p.m., a 51-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for (driving while license suspended) DWLS, second offense, following a traffic stop, Bryant and Washington, Pere Marquette Twp.

Friday, Dec. 5, 2014

– 1:02 a.m., a 21-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of analogues following a traffic stop, Pere Marquette Hwy and Sixth St., Pere Marquette Twp.
