Custer man arrested for assault.

mcso_cruiser_k9CUSTER TWP. — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 22-year-old Custer man Tuesday night for assault. At 9:57 p.m. deputies responded to a 911 call to a residence in the 3700 block of East First St. for a report of a person “out of control” at the house. Sheriff Kim Cole said deputies entered the residence and found the man actively fighting a family member.

Other activity of the sheriff’s office for Dec. 2, 2014 included:

  • 9:42 a.m.: Damaged property, 4400 block of West U.S. 10, Amber Twp. Graffiti on side of building.
  • 5:39 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Millerton and Larson roads, Sheridan Twp.
  • 7:24 p.m.: Suspicious situation, 6300 block of East Griffin Rd., Sheridan Twp.
  • 7:53 p.m.: Damaged property, 500 block of Landon Rd., Branch Twp. Electric cord leading to the complainant’s wood stove had been cut and destroyed.
