SCOTTVILLE — A 21-year-old Fountain woman received minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East State Street (U.S. 10) and Reinberg Ave. Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred about 3 p.m. after the eastbound Ford Windstar minivan, driven by the 21-year-old woman, was attempting to turn left onto North Reinberg Ave. and crossed in the path of a westbound Chevrolet van driven by a 58-year-old Muskegon man. The minivan then rolled over at the northeast corner of the intersection. The van was owned by Coca-Cola.

Each vehicle was occupied by one person. The driver of the Chevrolet van was uninjured. The driver of the minivan received minor injuries and was checked over and released by Life EMS ambulance paramedics on scene.

Scottville Police Sgt. Jason Williams said this was the third rollover crash at the State and Reinberg intersection this year. The driver of the minivan was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.

Responding to the scene were Scottville Police Dept., Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Scottville Fire Dept. and Life EMS. Custer Fire Department’s rescue unit was initially called but disregarded.
