GRANT TWP. — A 19-year-old Free Soil man was injured Friday afternoon at 3:32 p.m. when the motorcycle he was riding flipped while he was riding it in a field on private property in the 1900 block of Townline Rd. The man received minor injuries. Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office, along with Grant Twp. Fire and Rescue and Life EMS ambulance responded.

  • 3:32 p.m.: Medical assist, 6500 block of North Stiles Rd., Victory Twp.
  • 5:54 p.m.: Identity theft, Pere Marquette Twp. A 27-year-old Arizona man, who formerly resided in Mason County, reported someone had taken a credit card out in his name.
  • 11:17 p.m.: Alarm activation, 1600 block of Lakeshore Dr., Pere Marquette Twp.

Oct. 18, 2014:

  • 9:01 a.m. Gas drive off of $32.63, Wesco, 5600 block of West U.S. 10, P.M. Twp.
  • 11:42 a.m.: Gas drive off of $17.01, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West U.S. 10, P.M. Twp.
  • 9:12 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Meisenheimer and Scottville roads, Eden Twp.

Oct. 19, 2014:

  • 12:20 a.m.: A 20-year-old Branch man was cited for driving while license suspended first citation following a traffic stop at Jackson Rd. and Ludington Ave., City of Ludington.
  • 7:20 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Victory Dr. and Angling Rd., Hamlin Twp.
