Children’s social-emotional health topic of parent meeting.

LUDINGTON — The Mason County Parent Coalition will hold a parent connection meeting on Thursday, October 30 from 5:30- 7:30 pm at the United Methodist Church of Ludington.

The speaker will be Jessica Bennett, Infant Mental Health Clinician at West Michigan Community Mental Health Services. Bennett will be talking about social-emotional health in young children, signs to watch out for, and what to do if you think your child needs help. Dinner and childcare will be provided and all Mason County families with children 0-12 years old are invited to attend.

The Mason County Parent Coalition is part of the Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative which works to assure a coordinated system of community resources and support to help all families in the tri-county area provide a great start for their children from pre-birth to age 8.
