MickeyMatson_iTunes_PosterSCOTTVILLE — “The Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure” will be showing, for free, this Friday at the Scottville Harvest Festival. The locally written, directed and produced movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Scottville Optimist Center.

Chairs will be available but movie-goers can also bring blankets (no lawn chairs allowed in the center). The Scottville Optimist Club will be selling popcorn and other food and refreshments outside the hall.

The movie was written and directed by Amber Township resident and Mason County Central alumni Harold Cronk. It is the first in the “Mickey Matson” series. The latest film, “The Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Pirates Code” is scheduled to debut later this year. Both movies star Christopher Lloyd.

The movie is sponsored by 10 West Studios, Scottville Clown Band, Scottville Optimist Club, IOS Entertainment, Mason County Press, Great Lakes Energy and Ludington Area Arts Council.
