Harvest Festival queen candidates still needed.

September 5, 2014

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Harvest Festival queen competition is still looking for candidates. First rehearsal was held earlier this week but more candidates are being sought. The queen competition has been a tradition with the festival for several decades. It is open to women ages 16- to 20-years-old who reside in Mason County and attend Mason County Central High School, Mason County Eastern High School, Ludington High School or West Shore Community College.

Two winners will be crowned: queen and first runner up. Queen will receive a $500 scholarship from the Ludington and Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce and first runner up will receive a $250 scholarship from West Shore Bank.

The competition will be at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Scottville Clown Band Shell. For more information, contact Katie Provenzano at [email protected] or 231-709-9646.
