Clown Band to perform in Scottville tonight

August 19, 2014

scottville_clown_bandSCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Clown Band is coming home, again. Tonight, at 7 p.m., the band helps celebrate the 25th anniversary of the building of the Scottville Clown Band Shell — unless there is rain. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Mason County Central High School gymnasium.

Tonight’s concert is also a fundraiser for the Lakeshore Parrotheads to help raise money for Alzheimer’s disease research. The Parrotheads along with the local Alzheimer’s association will be selling food in either location.

No lawn chairs will be allowed in the gymnasium, but chairs and bleachers will be available.

The Scottville Clown Band Shell concert series is a joint effort between the Scottville Optimist Club, Scottville Clown Band and the community.
