Police still searching for MDOP suspects

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Police Department continues to seek assistance in the identification of two individuals who are suspects in multiple car larcenies and slashing of tires.

On July 15 between the hours of 1 and 6 a.m. the Ludington Police Department responded to multiple car larceny/ malicious destruction of property complaints.

In all cases the vehicles were either broken into, the tires slashed, or both.

A witness reported seeing a male and female looking through one of the vehicles. The witness described both suspects as being thin built and said the female was wearing a black hoodie.

One of the suspects is believed to be, or have been, in possession of a knife used to slash several tires. It is believed that one of the suspects sustained an injury while gaining entry into one of the vehicles, or damaging one of the tires.

Entry tools were recovered from two of the scenes.

A $500 cash reward is being offered to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
