Custer man injured following bicycle crash

CUSTER TWP. — A 33-year-old Custer man was injured Wednesday at 9:37 a.m. following a bicycle crash on U.S. 10 and Darr Rd. The man apparently fell over his handlebars while traveling on U.S. 10. He was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS ambulance where he was treated for his injuries. Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Scottville Fire Dept. and Life EMS.

– 1:57 p.m.: Harassing text messages, 2400 block of High Street, Village of Custer.

– 2:48 p.m.: Single vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Dr. and Angling Rd., Hamlin Twp.

– 3:07 p.m.: An 18-year-old Bear Lake man was cited for driving while license suspended, first offense, following a traffic stop at Main and High streets.

– 5:01 p.m.: Traffic assist at structure fire, 2400 block of North Stephens Rd., Sherman Twp.

– 5:03 p.m.: Two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 and Brye Rd., Amber Twp.

– 8:33 p.m.: Larceny, 5800 block of East U.S. 10, Branch Twp.

– 10:05 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Free Soil Rd., Free Soil Twp.

– 10:37 p.m.: Warrant arrest, U.S. 31 and Countyline Rd., Grant Twp., 38-year-old Ludington woman.
