2 opportunities for free movies this week

Movie lovers have a chance to take advantage of two free movie screenings this week.

On Thursday, “The Nut Job” will be shown at Ludington City Park at dusk. This is the first of four movies that will showing there. The other movies are: “Despicable Me 2,” Aug. 7; “Lego Movie,” Aug. 14 and “Frozen,” Aug. 21.

On Friday, “Mirror Mirror” will be shown at the Scottville Clown Band Shell beginning at 9:30 p.m. This is the fourth and final film to be shown in Scottville’s free summer movie series.
