Fire at Indian Summer

RIVERTON TWP. — A large pile of apple boxes caught on fire at the Indian Summer plant on Chauvez Road. Riverton, Pere Marquette, Ludington, Scottville, Pentwater and Hamlin fire departments are on scene.

The fire appears to have started from a trash pile located about 30 feet from the pallet boxes. Water supply has been a challenge.
