Rothbury man arrested for driving with suspended license; minors arrested for possession

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 24-year-old Rothbury man Tuesday morning for driving while license suspended, second arrest and for an outstanding failure to appear warrant from the Michigan State Police Hart Post. The arrest occurred following a traffic stop at the intersection of Pere Marquette Highway and Conrad Road.

Other activity of the sheriff’s office for Tuesday, June 4, 2014 included:

– 2:31 a.m.: Two Ludington men, ages 20 and 19, were arrested and charged with minor in possession of alcohol following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Twp. The 20-year-old was also charged with possession of marijuana.

– 5:31 p.m.: Single vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, southbound U.S. 31 at Pere Marquette Highway off-ramp, P.M. Twp.

– 7:28 p.m.: A 23-year-old Frazenburg, Ohio man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at Ludington Avenue (M-116) and Park Street in the City of Ludington.

– 9:24 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Custer and Wilson roads, Custer Twp.

– 9:53 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Scottville and Marrison roads, Riverton Twp.

– 11:48 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Sugar Grove roads, Victory Twp.
