Obit: Judith Schoenherr, 67, Baldwin

Schoenherr, aged 67 of Baldwin passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids.  Judy was born on July 13, 1946 in Ludington, the daughter of Fred W. and Gladys M. (Wright) Schoenherr, graduated from Mason County Eastern High School with the class of 1965, and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Western Michigan University in 1969.  Judy taught English at Baldwin Middle School for 30 years, retiring in 1999. She loved being outdoors, working in her many flower gardens, or hunting for rare finds collecting antiques.  She loved her pets and cared for many cats and dogs through the years including her current cats Henry and Gracie, and her border collie Rosie.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Fred “Skip” Schoenherr, and her sister Bette Johnson.  She will be greatly missed by her brother Theodore Schoenherr and his wife Mary of Custer, her sister Sally Johnston and her husband Al of Reed City, her best friend Linda Cox of Baldwin, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
