Hamlin transportation committee rides on

Dear Editor,

The rumors of our demise are greatly exaggerated, to paraphrase Mark Twain. Hammie has visited the auto body shop and has been repaired, good as new, from his recent collision with the wall of opposition. Fortunately, Hammie has many friends who offered transportation while he was incapacitated. Too bad he couldn’t ride the bus.

We thank those who support the efforts to place public transportation on the ballot in Hamlin Township. The well wishes, public support and donations to continue our campaign are appreciated. Please do not give up. We are still working toward the goal of transportation available to all residents of Hamlin Township and with your help, we will succeed. Please let your township officials know you support “taking the bus”.
