Water main repairs will close east-bound Ludington Ave. at James

LUDINGTON — The water main located at the intersection of Ludington Avenue and South James Street is leaking.  Due to its busy location and the proximity to a 60-inch sanitary sewer, the city has contracted with Hallack Contracting to perform the repairs.  The work will begin on Thursday, March 27 and should be completed by Friday, March 28.  Eastbound traffic on Ludington Avenue will be detoured south on Rath Avenue, east on Loomis Street and then north on Harrison Street.  Westbound traffic should remain open.  South James Street will be closed at Ludington Avenue.
