2 sentenced in 51st Circuit Court

LUDINGTON – The following were sentenced March 18 in 51ST Circuit Court:

Joshua Carr

–          Joshua Alan Carr, 29, of 405 4th St., Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 14 of two counts of controlled substance, possession of a non-narcotic, and one count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. He was sentenced to three concurrent terms of 330 days in jail with credit for three days served; serve four months up front with the balance to be served at the court’s discretion; work release must meet Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) guidelines; driver’s license suspended 30 days, restricted 150 days; $691 in fines and costs; and 18 months probation. One count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer was dismissed per plea agreement.

–          Sheila Ranae Henson, 32, of 504 E. Dahaner, Apt. 1, Ludington, was found guilty Feb. 4 of larceny in a building and habitual offender, third conviction. She was sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 154 days served; serve six months up front (already served) with balance to be served at the court’s discretion; $1,726.10 in restitution; $598 in fines and costs; and 24 months probation.
