Obit: Linda Conklin, 65, Ludington

Linda Conklin, age 65 of Ludington, passed away at home on March 12, 2014. She was born August 24, 1948, the daughter of Austin and Lilla Berry. Linda graduated from Chelmsford High School and went on to attend Bridgewater State University. She married Jack Conklin on October 9, 1968 in Naha, Okinawa.

Linda was employed as a customer service representative for Smith & Eddy Insurance. She was a member of Lincoln Hills Golf Club and Emanuel Lutheran Church of Ludington. Linda enjoyed singing, golf, and spending time with her family. Her smile and infectious laugh will be missed by friends and family alike.  

She is survived by her husband, Jack Conklin; daughter, Heather (Steve Lohman); son, Brent (Molly) Conklin, grandsons, Charlie & Will Conklin; sister, Susan Pakula; and mother, Lilla Eaton. Linda was preceded in death by her father. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Ludington.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 14,  2014, at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and again at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
