2 arrested Monday for no driver’s license

Deputies from Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people, in separate incidents, Monday for driving while their license was suspended.

A 44-year-old Fountain man was arrested following a traffic stop at 11:38 a.m. at Stolberg and Tallman Lake roads in Sheridan Township. It was his first offense for DWLS.

At 8:17 p.m. a 35-year-old Manistee man was arrested following a traffic stop at U.S. 31 and Decker Rd. in Custer Twp. It was his second offense for DWLS.

Deputies also responded to a larceny complaint at 9:05 a.m. in the 300 block of South Quarterline Road in Amber Township. Household goods were reported stolen.
