Man receives minor injury

AMBER TWP. — Believe it or not, the man driving this truck walked away with only a laceration to his hand. The crash, at the intersection of Stiles and Jagger roads, involved the pickup and a garbage truck.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Scottville Fire Dept., Ludington Fire Dept. and Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources (conservation officer assisted with traffic control).

Motorists are being urged by law enforcement to use extra caution while driving in these extreme winter conditions. They are also reminded to slow down even more when driving by an emergency scene.
