79th District Court sentences, as of Dec. 18, 2013

LUDINGTON – The following defendants were sentenced this past week in 79th District Court:
– Donald Thomas Miller, 25, of 203 Second St., Scottville, was found guilty Dec. 17 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to $580 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must have a substance evaluation and follow recommendations; no contact with victim; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs). One count of interfering with electronic communications was dismissed.
– Terry Edward Brown, 41, of 5387 Anderson Rd., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 16 of allowing person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to $335 in fines and costs.
– Timothy Paul Schubeck, 45, of 2849 8th St., Shelbyville, was found guilty Dec. 16 of failure to validate deer kill tag/improper. He was sentenced to $1,000 in restitution; $215 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.
– Patrick Edmund Wright, (date of birth illegible), of 863 S. Sheridan St., Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 16 of allowing person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to $335 in fines and costs.
– Russell John Masse, 50, of 6565 W. Groth Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Dec. 16 of failure to display a valid license. He was sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– William Mark Cole II, 25, of 214 Catherine St., Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 11 of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for eight days served; $740 in fines and costs; driver’s license suspended 180 days, restricted 150 days; 24 months probation; and no alcohol/drugs.
– Brian Richard Lang, 30, of 1101 W. Lake St., Apt. B, Chicago, was found guilty Dec. 10 of operating while intoxicated or under a controlled substance. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; and $1,145 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Austin James McCumber, 18, of 118 Mt. Vernon, Scottville, was found guilty Dec. 10 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; $1,145 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must have substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; must attend the session of the Victims’ Impact Panel; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Jody Lee Goodman, 44, of 3860 Cleveland St., Fountain, was found guilty Dec. 10 of disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to $899.50 in fines, costs and restitution; 90 days discretionary jail for six months; and no contact with the victim. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Grayson Kenneth Milton, 22, of 1422 E. US-10, Scottville, was found guilty Dec. 10 of receiving and concealing stolen property. He was sentenced to $580 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; and must attend the Economic Crime Program. One count of larceny $200 or more but less than $1,000 was dismissed.
– Michael Ryan Albaugh, 24, of 186 S. Walhalla Rd., Fountain, was found guilty Dec. 10 of receiving and concealing stolen property. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $580 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for two years; and must provide truthful testimony when called.
– Jacqueline June Howe, 64, of 7060 E. First St., Walhalla, pleaded no contest Dec. 11 to attempted interfering with an electronic device and domestic violence. She was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served for each count; one year discretionary jail for two years for Count I; 93 days discretionary jail for two years for Count II; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; must complete the Hands-Down Program; no alcohol/drugs; and $580 in fines and costs.
– Adam Eugene Wolfe, 27, of 2937 Lena Dr., Ludington, was found guilty Dec. 12 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $90 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Dustin Kyle Ritsema, 23, of 8288 Freeland Ave., SW, Byron Center, was found guilty Dec. 10 of DWLS. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail for two years; and $580 in fines and costs. He was also found guilty Dec. 10 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $1,145 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Both convictions reportable to SOS.
– Devin William Hawkins, 20, of 7616 E. Anthony Rd., Branch, was found guilty Dec. 10 of receiving and concealing stolen property. He was sentenced to $8,910 in restitution; $580 in fines and costs; inpatient treatment; one year discretionary jail for two years; and must provide truthful testimony when called. He was released from jail to immediately go to an inpatient program; if he fails to complete program, he will be immediately remanded to jail.
– Curtis Justin Solari, 38, of 265 Pine St., Mason, Washington, was found guilty Dec. 12 of disorderly person drunk. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $286.50 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and subject to random PBTs.
– Morgan Montana Svidron, 22, of 2931 Anthony Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty Dec. 12 of failure to report an accident. She was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Restitution is reserved.
– Clinton John Taylor, 24, of 608 ½ N. Harrison St., Ludington, was found guilty Dec. 12 of disorderly person. He was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs and 30 days discretionary jail for one year.
– Jason John Loxen, 33, of 1517 Betty Ave., Ludington, was found guilty Nov. 26 of violation of a restricted license. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for two years; must have substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; $225 in fines and costs; must be tethered to Soberlink for one year; random drug testing for two years; no alcohol/drugs for two years; and must attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) twice a week for two years. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Robert James Adair, 29, of 206 ½ Third St., Scottville, was found guilty Dec. 5 of disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $285 in fines and costs; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; and no alcohol/drugs.
– Nestor Fonseca-Vazquez, 34, of 307 S. Rowe St., Apt. 4, Ludington, was found guilty Dec. 5 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Keturah Depre Johnson of 12731 Madiee St., Detroit, was found guilty Dec. 2 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
