MCP receives 1 million views for 2013!

December 11, 2013

By Rob Alway. Editor-in-Chief.

A few days ago Mason County Press reached a milestone, we had our 1 millionth page view for 2013! We are coming up to the end of our second year and it’s been quite a ride. Non of this could have happened without the support of our great readers and advertisers. We have a loyal following of readers on our website and on our social media sites.

We are proud to be Mason County’s leading outlet for online dialogue. Daily our over 5,400 Facebook fans discuss the events of the day. Further, our website averages over 6,000 views each day. It’s been our goal to be the county’s top source for news and information and we hope that are succeeding.

We’ve gained a lot of new readers over the past several months. For those of you who don’t know our roots, please check out our history here. We’re proud to continue the name of Mason County Press that was started right here in Scottville in 1938 and continued until the mid-1970s (the weekly newspaper had a brief revival in the late 1980s).

MCP is a free service thanks to the support of our advertisers. As you are looking for that special gift for Christmas, please make sure to support these advertisers and also be sure to see you saw their ad on MCP.

Also, please be sure to check out our newest venture, ManisteeCountyPress.com.

Merry Christmas to all and thank you.
