Ludington holiday parade and small business Saturday is Nov. 30

November 26, 2013

LUDINGTON — The Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Downtown Ludington Board, will hold its Aglow on the Avenue holiday parade on Saturday, November 30 to welcome Santa to town and to begin the holiday season. The parade will step-off at a new time, 6 p.m. and will travel east along Ludington Avenue from Gaylord Avenue to Harrison Street. During the parade Santa will stop at James Street Plaza for the annual lighting of the tree. Immediately after the parade, head to the Book Mark for pictures with Santa, hot cocoa and other refreshments.

The parade is in conjunction with Small Business Saturday to encourage individuals to visit our downtown businesses and shop local in Ludington and Scottville. Residents are encouraged to get involved, be a part and make a difference by making this commitment and showing your support to small businesses in our communities. Look for the businesses with the Shop Small Signs in their doors.
