Mason County Sheriff’s Office, as of Oct. 31, 2013

The following is the activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office from October 31, 2013:

5:54 a.m.: Alarm activation, 5900 block of West U.S. 10, Pere Marquette Township.

8:10 a.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, PM Highway and Iris Road, PM Township.

Noon: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 10 west of PM Highway, PM Township.

6:11 p.m.: Gas drive off, $10, Ludington EZ Mart, PM Township.

6:23 p.m.: Assist to probation/parole, various locations throughout Mason County. Deputies working with probation/parole agents conducted spot checks on sex offenders whose conditions of probation/parole prohibited them from interacting with children. This was conducted in conjunction with trick or treating times. No violations were found.

10:30 p.m.: Alarm activation, 1600 block of West U.S. 10, Amber Township.
