Wilson appointed to West Shore Bank board

LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank has announced the appointment of John K. Wilson to the board of directors of West Shore Bank and West Shore Bank Corporation. The appointment was made at a board meeting held on October 15 and received unanimous approval. Wilson is the president and CEO of Western Land Services, based in Ludington.

“John’s business experience and knowledge, as well as his community leadership, will be a real asset to our board of directors,” said West Shore Bank President and CEO Raymond A. Biggs. “We are very pleased to have such a talented leader join our team.”

Wilson is a graduate of Michigan State University’s School of Business and has been in the energy business since 1981. Active in business and civic affairs, Wilson is currently on the board of directors of the Michigan Oil and Gas Association. He is also the vice president of the Community Foundation of Mason County and chairman of the Pennies from Heaven Foundation. He was a founder of Epsilon Energy, LTD and CORE Energy.

Wilson resides in Ludington with his wife Anita and their three children.
