Scottville man dies from motorcycle crash injuries

A 38-year-old Scottville man has died as a result of the injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash earlier this month, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. Frederick Martin Holden was injured on October 1, 2013 when his motorcycle was struck by a deer as he was traveling west on East Washington Road near Darr Road in Eden Township.

Following the crash, Holden was airlifted by Aeromed to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids where he remained until his passing.
