Sheriff’s office responds to B&Es, other incidences

Mason County Sheriff’s Office reports the following recent activity:

Breaking and Entries:

Deputies responded to two recent breaking and entry incidences that occurred Thursday, Oct. 18 or Friday, Oct. 19, one of which has resulted in an arrest.

–            2100 block of West Johnson Road in Amber Township. Numerous power tools and antiques were stolen. The case remains under investigation.

–          7500 block of East Anthony Road in Logan Township. Numerous items were stolen including hunting equipment, TVs and other electronics. During the course of investigating, deputies established a suspect and arrested him on warrants for larceny and possession of marijuana. Warrants were also sought for charges of B&E and receiving/concealing stolen property.

Driving While License Suspended.

The sheriff’s office also arrested a 21-year-old woman on Oct. 18 at 2:22 p.m. for driving while license suspended first offense following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Nelson Road.

Larceny of Gas. On Oct. 19, around 5:14 p.m., a subject drove off without paying for $77.05 of gas in the 6300 block of West Bryant Road in Pere Marquette Township. The incident remains under investigation.
